Participation Divisions

Age Groups: 16-19 years, 5 year age groups through 70+.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be at Running Away Multisport (1634 West North Ave., Chicago, IL 60622) ONLY on the dates listed below:

Race day packet pickup will only be available for our out-of-town participants from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. An out-of-town particpant is anyone who lives more than 30 miles from Running Away Multisport. You will receive an email confirming your out-of-town status with the details of packet pickup.

You may pick up packets of friends and family members, but ONLY on the dates listed above.

Event Alert System

Course conditions will be reported leading up to and on race day using the Event Alert System (EAS)

Timing

Terrapin 5K is thrilled to be using the new ChronoTrack Disposable Timing System (D-Tag™). The D-Tag™ is an all-weather option that is better suited for pace of today’s events. ChronoTrack Systems™ D-Tag™ is a disposable tag that participants peel off the bib and place on their shoe to record their time. By creating the D-Tag™, the need for chips are eliminated thus, eliminating chip assignment, lost chips, secure zone for chip collection and inaccurate results due to multiple chip files.

The ChronoTrack System™ has been used to time the San Francisco Marathon, New York Nike Human Race, Rock N Roll Half Marathon Virginia Beach, Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon, GO! St. Louis Marathon, and the Free Press Detroit Marathon among others.
